Welcome to first grade!
I hope you had a great summer and are ready to get back to school! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year of fun, learning, and lots of adventures! I cannot wait to see what the year has in store for us!
Supplies:
Backpack without wheels
2 packs of #2 pencils (sharpened) with erasers
24 count CRAYOLA brand crayons (Primary colors)
1 Pocket Folder
2 packs dry erase markers (Expo brand)
1 small dry-erase eraser or infant sock
1 Hard Case Pencil Box (No soft pouches)
2 boxes of tissues
6 Glue sticks
1 container of hand wipes (Wet Ones or unscented baby wipes)
1 roll of paper towels
1 small pair of Fiskar child-size blunt scissors
2 3oz containers of Playdoh
1 Pink beveled erase
Wire-Connected headphones
****Compatible with iPad Air
*****No Earbuds
****Open headphones and place in a large Ziplock labeled with their name
There is no need to send the USB adapter
Lunch and Snack:
Students have the option to buy hot or cold lunches from the cafeteria. A menu is sent home each month. If your child chooses to bring lunch, please label your child's lunchbox with their name.
We will be having snack every day. Please send in a healthy snack and drink/water with your child. It would be helpful to pack a simple snack that your child can consume in a reasonable amount of time and that they are able to open on their own. Please provide any utensils that your child will need. It would be appreciated if you can send in a “throw away” type of snack and beverage. If possible, please send snack in a separate bag (brown bag, Ziplock, etc.)
Class Dojo: Sign up for the “Class Dojo” app. You will receive this info in a letter prior to the students’ first day. Class Dojo allows me to text reminders and messages about our class and school events right to your phone. This will keep you in the loop! CODE: PPBY3P8N5
